Inu Ga Shima

An outbreak of canine influenza happens in the future city of Megasaki, Japan with the potential risk of the virus jumping to humans. The city's mayor, Kenji Kobayashi, has a law passed banishing all dogs to Trash Island, despite Professor Watanabe, the mayor's riva,l who insists he is close to finding a cure. One of the dogs sent to Trash Island was a dog named Spots Kobayashi, the bodyguard-dog of orphan Atari Kobayashi, the mayor's distant nephew. Atari then embarks on an epic quest to do anything it takes to save his dog Spot. Will he succeeded?
